The legend of Riva was launched when Pietro Riva arrived in the town of Sarnico, shifting Italy’s production from transport vessels to motorboats. From its very beginning in 1842, Riva consistently established new standards in the maritime world. The journey started when a young shipwright began restoring ships after a sudden storm wiped out an entire fishing fleet on Lake Iseo in Italy. Under the artistic direction of Mauro Micheli and the Officina Italiana Design studio, Riva continues to craft vessels that are symbols of exquisite design and innovative craftsmanship.
